The Barony Beyond the Mountain and the Barony of Carolingia have joined together to organize an event for artisans in the SCA who would enjoy the opportunity to make the artifacts left behind by the life of a historical person who could have existed over the course of the SCA time period of study -- you could be recreating the grave goods of a Merovingian burial, the probate inventory of an Elizabethan housewife, the journals of a Provencal country gentleman... you have all of history to play in and nothing but your imagination to limit you.

The centerpiece of the event will be a contest where your work can be displayed and prizes awarded, but the real fun will be in the research and the making.  We've given ourselves a year to create these artifacts and prepare for the event. We hope to see you there!
